Custom Web · bespoke WordPress

Custom sites on WordPress. Written line by line, not assembled from a template.

The difference isn’t “prettier”. It’s what actually reaches the browser: controlled code, no page-builder, performance and accessibility by default — and a clean source that never betrays a premade theme.

Software house — su misura, costruito da noi
Custom vs template

Same WordPress. A different craft.

A page builder (Elementor, Divi) ships its entire toolbox to every page. A custom build ships only the code the page actually uses.

Template · page-builder

What it drags along

  • Bloated DOM and render-blocking CSS/JS — Core Web Vitals you keep chasing
  • System fonts or the theme’s default stack
  • Recycled demo sections, a “template” identity
  • Source that exposes the builder: generator, et_pb_, elementor-
  • Dozens of plugins: attack surface and fragile updates
  • “Fast” only until the next plugin update
TMM · custom-coded

What we build

  • A bespoke theme: only the code that page needs
  • Brand typography, self-hosted
  • Sections built for your business, copy written by hand
  • Clean source: no builder fingerprint (the “view-source test”)
  • Minimal, audited dependencies
  • Performance by default, not recovered afterwards
Technology base

How we build it (and why it holds up)

WordPress stays the editorial core. Everything else is controlled code. Concrete points, not slogans.

01

Performance

Green Core Web Vitals by construction: fewer DOM nodes, CSS/JS only where needed, modern images (AVIF/WebP) with LCP priority.

02

Accessibility

Semantic HTML is accessible by default: landmarks, headings and keyboard support — not ARIA patched on. Aligned with WCAG and the European Accessibility Act.

03

Technical SEO

Clean markup and valid JSON-LD: more rich results and CTR. Schema doesn’t “boost rank” — it opens rich results.

04

Security

In 2024 about 96% of WordPress vulnerabilities lived in plugins. We build with minimal, audited dependencies: a smaller surface to attack.

05

Design control

No template ceiling: layout, motion and typography exactly as designed, 1:1 with the brand.

06

Scalability

When it’s warranted (high traffic, multichannel) we go headless with a static front end — fast and decoupled. When it isn’t, we don’t force it.

WordPress isn’t slow. Uncontrolled markup is. We keep control of the markup.
